Recently visited items donated are; bag of garri, a carton of washing soap, 20 bags of pure water, a carton of detergent, a bag of salt, two (2) cartons of bobo (fruit juice for the children)and a carton of biscuit.
We also installed a handwashing station and hand sanitizer to enable routine handwashing against COVID 19, as they don’t have running water and have to trek about 10km daily to fetch water. Water is a major challenge for them.
Members of the camp are residing in a secondary(Pwomol Secondary School Hiepang), consists of 94 women, 45 children, and 16 men. Most of the men and youths were killed during the Fulani herdsmen attack. Items like mattresses, mosquito net, foodstuffs, clothing, portable water and seeds to plant were also donated since most of the victims are farmers will really be handy in the future.
